How a mandate is handled.
We work with a limited number of active mandates so that each receives proper attention.
- 01Submit criteriaComplete the mandate form. You will receive a reference number by email.
- 02Review and qualificationWe review the mandate, may ask for clarification, and take reasonable steps to confirm identity, authority and the basis of funding.
- 03Search and screeningWe assess incoming and originated opportunities against your criteria, and may approach businesses that are not on the market.
- 04Anonymised presentationWhere there is a fit, we share an anonymised summary first. Identifying information follows only with the owner’s consent and, usually, a signed NDA.
- 05IntroductionWith confidentiality and commercial terms agreed in writing, we introduce you to the owner or their adviser.

- Your contact details and organisation
- Buyer type and a brief description of your investment approach
- Target sectors, subsectors and geographies
- Revenue, EBITDA and enterprise value ranges
- Ownership preference and preferred transaction structure
- Funding status, with optional supporting explanation
- Timing and any specific requirements
- Confirmation of accuracy, authority and acceptance of our terms
We will never ask for bank credentials or passwords. Evidence of funding, where relevant, is requested later in the process and handled confidentially.

Discretion in both directions.
Your identity and the detail of your mandate are not disclosed without your consent. If you agree to a mandate being listed on our website, it is published in anonymised form, describing only the criteria — never the acquirer.
Opportunities shared with you are confidential to you. Information about businesses is provided by their owners or advisers and is not independently audited by us; you remain responsible for your own due diligence.
